Abstract Indonesia is located at the confluence of three main tectonic plates which makes it one countries with highest earthquake risk in world. Recorded experiences has showed that cause damage to buildings particularly multi-storey building structures. The purpose this study determine performance level reinforced concrete structures using a performance-based design method based on ATC-40 and FEMA 440 regulations. are 4-storey 8-storey buildings. effect column size, beam quality investigated. This results level, capacity curve, effectiveness variations pushover analysis 440. It can be concluded structure considered as Operational category On other hand, for structures, more effective enlarge cross-sectional dimensions increase height buildings, respectively.
